Northpoint Publishing contacted me to provide a period of holiday cover for their internal Graphic Designer – at a crucial time to meet print deadlines for the September/October 2025 edition of the LBV magazine. Working on-site at their Blackburn headquarters, I was tasked to complete the design, layout and artwork for many of the magazine articles and news features, whilst also providing support to the marketing department with associated advertising materials and a number of social tiles to promote the latest magazine launch.
This senior role included working directly alongside the magazine Editor, making last minute layout amends and copy changes to ‘legs & pars’ and of course to ensure that the artwork was of an excellent standard and PDF files were prepared ready for print – and finally checking the printers’ chromalin proofs. An enjoyable and rewarding role supporting Richard Slater and his fantastic team.
